One-way connecting doors link the sections internally, but nobody has to walk through anyone else’s space to get where they’re going. For grandparents who go to bed at 9pm and a family with kids who doesn’t, this setup gives families who travel together the space they want during vacation.

As for the floor plan, the master bedroom is on the ground level with a king-sized bed, a queen sleeper pullout sofa in a seating area, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The middle section has two queen beds and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is the one designed for kids: a twin trundle bunk bed with netting on the sides, individual shelves at each bunk, a reading light for each bed, and the suite’s only bathtub with a shower and tub combination, which we think is the best room for scrubbing sand off a four-year-old at the end of the day. 🙂

The living area between the sections is an open-concept with a full kitchen, dining table, wet bar, and a queen sleeper pullout sofa. Fun Fact… The kitchen is properly equipped with a De’Longhi espresso maker, full refrigerator, wine cooler, and fully stocked pantry.

For a family of up to 12, being able to make coffee and eat breakfast together at the dining table in the suite rather than getting everyone together at the restaurant with a full group at 7am is what we think is a nice daily feature here. With the Eventide Penthouse Three Bedroom Butler Walkout – 3BW, you step out of the suite and right onto that amazing Seven Mile Beach. You don’t need an elevator or stairs, and there is no carrying a toddler through a hallway.

For us, this is one specific reason to choose the 3BW over the Eventide Penthouse Three Bedroom Balcony Butler (3BB), which has the identical floor plan one floor up with a balcony instead of the walkout. The 3BB does give you a better beachfront view from the balcony, but the 3BW gives you the best beach access at the same price point. For families with young children, the ground floor is a great consideration, although if a rooftop view is your interest, we highly recommend the Eventide Penthouse Three Bedroom Balcony & Roof Terrace Butler – 3RT.

If your group is 12 or fewer and a private pool is on the list more than a beachfront walkout, the Firesky Reserve Villa (4VP) is worth the comparison as it sleeps 10 and is located in Island Village rather than Calypso Cove, nearest to the kids camp.
