As Beaches resort specialists, we booked families in every suite in the Eventide Penthouse Collection, and the 3BB is frequently our top recommendation for those where beach views are important, stairs aren’t a concern, and the rooftop on the 3RT isn’t something you’d use frequently. The second floor is the sweet spot. High enough to look out over the beach from inside the master bedroom, close enough to the ground that the kids manage the steps easily, and no rooftop pricing premium on the rate.

The master bedroom has a king bed, with an expansive sitting area, and a great view over Seven Mile Beach. For the adults in the group who wake up early, your butler will be happy to bring you a morning cappuccino or latte, but there is also a De’Longhi espresso maker in the kitchen where you can enjoy your coffee looking over that amazing beach.

For us, that is a perfect start to the day.

In the 3BB, the balcony connects every section of the suite and is where the family gathers in the evenings and is where you can host your chef-curated private dinner set up by the butler team at sunset.

The floor plan has three separate sections (rooms), each with its own entrance door and balcony access. There are one-way connecting doors linking all rooms together, and the master bedroom has a king bed, a sitting area, and a walk-in shower. The second room has two queen beds and a walk-in shower bathroom. The third room has a twin trundle bunk bed and the suite’s only shower-tub combination, which would probably be the right room for the youngest family members.

The central living area has an open-concept kitchen, dining table, wet bar, queen sleeper sofa, fully stocked refrigerator, wine cooler, pantry full of snacks, and a popcorn maker that the kids are sure to find right away.

In the Eventide Penthouse Three Bedroom Balcony Butler – 3BB, your butler service experience begins at the airport with Club MoBay Fast Track services and private transfers. At the beach each morning, your butler sets up your area with fresh drinks, towels, and toys for the kids, all done before most of the family is awake.

In our personal experience, we’ve had butler teams leave riddles on bunk beds, surprise treats on the kitchen counter, and, on request, will happily arrange off-property excursions and spa appointments.

The ideal family size for the 3BB is six to nine guests with at least two children. At those numbers, the floor plan works well, and everyone has a proper bed. Twelve can work, but it means someone is on pullout sofas, which are still comfy. The three-bedroom collection breaks down by floor and outdoor space. The Eventide Penthouse Three Bedroom Butler Walkout – 3BW is ground floor with a walkout patio, which is great for very young children or anyone who needs ground-level access. The Eventide Penthouse Three Bedroom Balcony & Roof Terrace Butler – 3RT is the third floor with a rooftop outdoor kitchen, which is great for social groups and evening family gatherings. The 3BB is the second floor, with beachfront views, one flight up and no rooftop.
