As travel professionals, we didn’t just pull these dates from a pricing chart. Our rankings come from a combination of Sandals historical rate trends, airfare fluctuations, and what we’ve personally seen work best for our clients.
We’ve analyzed nightly rate averages across the top rated Sandals resorts, total value for the price, including resort quality, dining, excursions, flight costs, weather patterns and availability of promotional offers (like the 7-7-7 Sale or other promos)
We also factored in the not-so-obvious elements: resorts outside the hurricane belt (like Curaçao), lower airfare on Tuesday/Wednesday departures, and client feedback from over 2,500 Sandals trips we’ve booked.
To help you get an idea as to what your trip could cost, we also built the most comprehensive Sandals resorts pricing calculator anywhere on the internet.
In less than 30 seconds, you can find the resort and room that matches your budget and interests.
Let’s get into the 5 cheapest times to visit a Sandals resort!
Before we unpack each time of year in detail, here’s a quick guide to help you decide what works best for your trip goals, timing, and budget.

Knowing when not to travel is just as helpful as knowing when to go.
One note: Some clients assume lower rates mean fewer services. That’s not the case. Sandals operates at full service year-round, no cutbacks on dining, entertainment, or activities, no matter the month. Some restaurants may be on an opening rotation but they are all open and available.
Jamaica is home to seven Sandals resorts, and it’s one of the most flexible islands when it comes to price variation.
