Tropical Oceanview Walkout Concierge King / Double – WBCK / WBCD

Ground-floor walkout concierge level rooms in the Savannah and Santa Cruz buildings. The most central part of the resort, with no elevator or stairs, and a patio that opens directly to the Caribbean ocean. Features a king bed or two doubles.

At Beaches Negril the Tropical Oceanview Walkout Concierge King / Double (WBCK / WBCD)’s are the same room, with the WBCK offering a king bed and the WBCD featuring two doubles. Both configurations are located on the ground floor of the Savannah buildings in Reggaeville or the Santa Cruz buildings in Island Village. Here, your walkout patio opens directly to the perfectly manicured gardens and to the Caribbean Sea. The room has a bathroom with a bathtub and shower combination, a flat-screen TV, and concierge service.

So which room is right for your family? When we’re speaking to clients about this option, it really comes down to the bedding configuration. For a family with one child or one additional adult who needs their own bed, we’ll recommend the WBCK version, while two adults who each need their own bed, or parents with two children who need separate sleeping areas, will go with the WBCD. If you’re not entirely sure, the WBCK’s pullout sofa does give you a backup sleeping option that the WBCD’s two-bed configuration doesn’t.

We have a lot of clients who prefer walkouts, and this being one of the less expensive options for smaller families is at the top of our list. As mentioned in our intro, there are no elevators in the Calypso Cove, Reggae Village, or Island Village buildings at Beaches Negril; only the Eventide Villa building has them. If your family includes anyone with mobility concerns, knee issues, or guests who genuinely cannot manage stairs, the walkout rooms on the first floor are the only concierge options we should consider. One of our previous clients who stayed in room 405 of the Savannah building told us this… “If you’re older or have knee issues, book a walkout room on the first floor.”

The Savannah buildings in Reggaeville are located in the heart of the resort, and the WBCK puts you close to the main pool, restaurants, and the central activity areas. Now, one thing to note is that the room description has recently changed from “Beachfront” to “Oceanview” as the Eventide Villa building changed what counts as beachfront in this section of the resort. That being said, the patio still looks out over the Caribbean and the tropical gardens, and the location advantage in the Savannah buildings hasn’t changed.

The room itself is newly renovated and features concierge service, including champagne on arrival, preferred check-in at the Concierge lounge, and dedicated assistance with dining reservations and excursions.

Fun fact here… The Tropical Oceanview Walkout Concierge WBCK and WBCD’s are the walkout versions of the BCK and BCD. For our clients who don’t need walkout access and want more village options, the BCK or BCD could be the right choice.

For families that need the walkout and want the central Savannah or Santa Cruz building access, the WBCK and WBCD are where to be. Now, if your family needs more sleeping room for more than four, the WBS is the option to consider as it adds a twin daybed with trundle and a fifth sleeping position.
