Tropical Concierge King / Double (GCK / GCD)
Concierge level rooms in the Savannah and Santa Cruz buildings located in Reggaeville and Island Village only. These feature second and third floor tropical garden views with a balcony and the least expensive concierge-level room rate at Beaches Negril.
At Beaches Negril the Tropical Concierge King (GCK) and Tropical Concierge Double (GCD) are the lowest priced concierge level rooms. Starting at $359 per guest per night compared to $452 for the Tropical Oceanview Concierge King / Double (BCK and BCD), the room offers the same king bed or two doubles configuration with a pullout sofa, a bathroom with a full tub and shower, and concierge service.
The difference is where the room is and the views they offer. The Tropical Concierge King (GCK) and Tropical Concierge Double (GCD)’s are only available on the second and third floors of the Savannah buildings in Reggaeville and the Santa Cruz buildings in Island Village. No Calypso Cove here, if that is important to you. Your balcony will overlook tropical gardens rather than the open ocean, but honestly, if you’re mainly using the room as a comfortable place to sleep and aren’t prioritizing Calypso Cove or a wider ocean view, the GCK and GCD could be the right pick, especially with the price difference. We just did some math for a family of four on a seven-night trip in November, and the GCK versus BCK saved $1,042.
The Savannah buildings in Reggaeville put the GCK and GCD in the central section of the resort, close to the main pool, restaurants, and Pirates Island Waterpark. The Santa Cruz buildings in Island Village put you closest to the waterpark specifically.
The decision between Tropical Concierge King (GCK) and Tropical Concierge Double (GCD) and Tropical Oceanview Concierge King / Double (BCK and BCD) comes down to one question: do you need Calypso Cove? If yes, being closer to the Eventide beachfront section, near Stella restaurant, on the quieter southern side, then the BCK or BCD is the only option. If Reggaeville or Island Village is where you want to be and you’re happy with a primarily garden-facing balcony, the GCK or GCD is a great choice and at a lower rate.
