When considering Beaches Negril, many of our clients come to us having spent a great deal of time deciding which building to request rather than which room to book. But something unique about Beaches Negril vs. Beaches Turks and Caicos is that many of the floor plans across the entire resort are the same, which makes deciding on the room a little easier. So what are the biggest differences?

In short, the Montpelier buildings in Calypso Cove give you the better ocean view and the quieter southern side of the resort, near Stella restaurant and the Eventide beach section. The Savannah buildings in Reggaeville are centrally located in the resort, closer to the main pool, and the Santa Cruz buildings in Island Village put you closest to Pirates Island Waterpark.

So what does that mean for the Tropical Oceanview Oversized Concierge Family Suite – BS?

As travel professionals who’ve been watching our children grow up here, our answer depends on what you’re looking for in your trip. A family of five with a tween or teen who’s going to live in the water park: the Santa Cruz building is our top recommendation. Parents of young kids who want the quieter side of the resort should go with the Montpelier, but at the end of the day, these requests are based on availability, and really the resort is not massive, so any of these buildings would work; plus, the room is the same as the Tropical Oceanview Oversized Walkout Concierge Family Suite – WBS.

The Tropical Oceanview Oversized Concierge Family Suite – BS is also the most flexible one-bedroom oversized concierge suite in our review series. The WBS is located in Reggae Village and Island Village on the ground floor only, and the 1BG is in Calypso Cove and Island Village on the upper floors only. However, the BS spans all three villages and multiple floors, so if a specific building matters to your family’s trip, and after nine stays at Beaches Negril, we can tell you it often does, the BS gives you the flexibility to request it.

Inside the suite, the setup is great for families of three to five people. The king bed is for the parents, the twin daybed with a trundle would be perfect for the younger kids, and the single pullout sofa would extend the count to five if needed. In the bathroom, you have a double vanity, and with concierge services, you can choose an in-room bar stocked with liquors, Robert Mondavi wines, and beer, with a refrigerator stocked with water, juice, beer, and soda.

Concierge service includes champagne on arrival, preferred check-in at the Suite Concierge Center, and dedicated concierge assistance from 7am to 10pm for dining reservations, excursions, and spa bookings.
