Eventide Penthouse Four Bedroom Balcony & Roof Terrace Butler – 4RT

While every suite in the Eventide four-bedroom collection gives you one outdoor space, the Eventide Penthouse Four Bedroom Balcony & Roof Terrace Butler – 4RT is the only room with both a furnished beachfront balcony on the third floor and a private rooftop deck directly above it, reached by internal stairs inside the suite.

Here your family gets two completely different outdoor experiences. The balcony is where the evenings begin, where you’ll gather to take in those sunset views over Seven Mile Beach before heading out to dinner. The rooftop is where you go when you want something different: morning coffee above the resort, private time away from the kids, and this is where your butler arranges the chef-curated dinner for the family.

Beaches describes the 4RT as “the best for indoor-outdoor living” across the full Eventide collection, and we totally agree with that description.

With a beachfront balcony, a rooftop terrace, and the same open-concept kitchen and living area as every other Eventide suite, the inside and outside living spaces work better here than any other room at Beaches Negril. The kitchen features a De’Longhi espresso maker, full refrigerator, wine cooler, stocked pantry, popcorn maker which is great for movie nights with the bedroom sections on either side and the balcony visible through the living space and the rooftop stairs behind you.

Two things worth knowing before you book. First: the third bedroom in the 4RT has a king bed, not two queen beds. Every other Eventide four-bedroom suite (the 4BW and 4BB) puts two queens in the third bedroom. The 4RT has a king there. For a family where the third bedroom is going to be used by a couple rather than two children, that’s a bonus, but for a family that needs two beds in that room, it’s a reason to look at the 4BB or 4BW instead. Second: the Calypso Cove buildings have no elevators. The 4RT is on the third floor. Stairs are required to get to the suite and to access the rooftop. For a family with young children or anyone with limited mobility, the ground-floor 4BW might be a better option to consider.

The floor plan follows the same three-section architecture as every other Eventide suite. Each bedroom section has its own entrance door and balcony access. One-way connecting doors link the sections internally. The master section has a king bed with a queen sleeper pullout sofa and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The second section has two bunk beds with trundles and a full bathroom, designed for the youngest guests. The third section has a king bed and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The living room adds a queen sleeper pullout sofa and a half bathroom.

One thing to note… Maximum occupancy is 16, so two fewer than the 4BW or 4BB.

Butler service on the 4RT includes Club MoBay fast track service, private transfers from Montego Bay, a dedicated arrivals lounge at check-in, private VIP arrival at the suite, 24-hour in-suite dining, a fully stocked bar with premium liquors, and daily housekeeping with turndown. The butler team manages everything from dining reservations, beach setups, in-suite meals, and the chef-curated private dinner — which, on the 4RT, is arranged on the rooftop.
