For 2025, there may only be two Beaches by Sandals resorts in the Caribbean, but they’re both amazing, for their own reasons.
So, while we wait for Beaches Barbados to open, today we’re going to highlight what each resort has to offer, including the brand-new Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos, opening in March 2026.
In short, Beaches Negril is great for multigenerational families with younger children, and Beaches Turks and Caicos is best for families with teens.
While each resort offers its own special benefits based on your family’s style, size, and needs, all Beaches Resorts deliver the ultimate all-inclusive vacation experience, bringing together luxury, fun, and entertainment for each guest.

When you book a stay at a Beaches resort, you’re getting way more than just a room with a view—you’re stepping into a world-class resort that has been built by Sandals. These resorts are for everyone!
At both Beaches Turks & Caicos and Beaches Negril, you’ll find spacious rooms with some multi-bedroom options for large families, specialty restaurants, and amenities designed for families and couples alike. At both resorts, you’ll wake up to warm ocean breezes in a setting surrounded by tropical gardens, with access to water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding, and world-class PADI scuba diving.
Unlike other resort brands that encourage tipping, Beaches resorts take the stress out of planning, with meals, drinks, and activities bundled into one easy package. Our clients love the age-appropriate activities and kids’ clubs, while couples can enjoy a romantic retreat with two adult-only dining options at Turks & Caicos.
Whether you’re looking for exciting family-friendly activities, a relaxing day on the beach, or a gourmet meal at a specialty restaurant, these resorts offer just about anything you could want.
With their original beauty, luxurious rooms, and amazing amenities, Beaches resorts in Turks & Caicos and Jamaica are the perfect setting for your next unforgettable vacation.
Rating: 9.6 / 10 | Location: Providenciales, Turks & Caicos
Why it wins #1:
Beaches flagship all-inclusive resort sits on the legendary Grace Bay and offers direct access to the Caribbean Sea with the bluest water you’ll ever see. Inside the resort, it offers 21+ dining options, including specialty dining and 26 bars, so there is always plenty to eat and drink!
The resort features five villages, so it is large, but it’s also easy to navigate. We love the 22,00 square foot Pirates Island Waterpark, and Sesame Street-themed entertainment for families with younger children. Teens will love it too, with shows and activities including an Xbox lounge and teen-only DJ parties.
For parents, Spa services are available at the Red Lane Spa, and we highly recommend the Lavender Scalp Massage. You can get this as an add-on or separate service for under $75, making it one of the least expensive treatments at the resort.
Cost / Price: ~$800–$1,200/night for family suites
Best for: Multi-gen trips, large families, food lovers, divers.
Airport transfer: 15 minutes
Watch for: Older rooms in the Caribbean Village feel dated (updates start in 2026), book Key West or Italian for a more upscale stay
Dining: 21 restaurants, food trucks, and plenty of allergy-friendly options
Insider Tip: Book butler rooms 9–12 months in advance during spring break or holidays
Scuba Diving: If diving is important during your family vacation, choose Beaches Turks and Caicos over Beaches Negril. The scuba diving is world-class here, and they have a great operation with multiple dive boats that leave directly from the resort.
Treasure Beach Village: Opening in March of 2026, this new section of Beaches Turks and Caicos will be an all-concierge and butler room village. Featuring a movie theater, Butches Chop House, and new dining options all designed to match the Sandals 2.0 modernization philosophy, the rooms are as beautiful as the beachfront views they offer.
A one-week all-inclusive stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos for two adults and two children ranges roughly $6,000 in low season, and up to $11,000 + during high season.
It’s only about 15 minutes from Providenciales International Airport (PLS), with complimentary transfers included. Butler guests receive a private transfer.
We think so! While it’s the priciest Beaches Resort, its size, 21+ dining options, and included amenities make it one of the most complete luxury all-inclusive options for families.
Rating: 9.5 / 10 | Location: Negril, Jamaica
Why It Wins #2:
Beaches Negril is an all-inclusive resort located on Jamaica’s famous 7 Mile Beach, offering guests direct access to one of the Caribbean’s most iconic beaches. Its calm, shallow waters and compact layout make it ideal for young swimmers, while the resort offers some unique amenities that set it apart, including multiple bars, a brand new kids club, a waterpark directly on the beach and specialty dining experiences.
Entertainment options are not lacking either, with shows and activities for all ages. Beaches Negril is a top recommendation for families wanting both downtime and fun in the heart of one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful destinations.
Here, you’ll experience an authentic, quiet “real Jamaica” feel with local fruits, amazing food, and a staff that will always greet you with a smile.
Cost / Price: ~$600–$900/night
Best for: Younger kids, multi-gen families, relaxed travelers, authentic culture seekers
Airport transfer: ~1.5 hours from Montego Bay
Room Tip: Concierge rooms near the beach offer the best value without splurging on butler service. If you are traveling as a large family, the brand new Fire Sky Villas will accommodate up to 12 guests, include butler service, and even a personal chef to make you a custom dinner one evening during your vacation.
Travel Hack: You can save money by booking a luxury or concierge level room and booking a daybed on the beach with butler service. This gets you a huge perk of a beachfront seating without the expense of a butler level room.
Food Note: Unlike Beaches Turks and Caicos, where many of the fruits are imported, at Beaches Negril, you’ll find many local fruits that are unique only to Jamaica.
Bonus: Fewer crowds, quieter beach, and staff who genuinely remember your name. Less stimulation than Turks, which can feel overwhelming for older travelers or toddlers
Nearby amenities: Adults have access to the nearby Sandals Negril resort. It’s an easy 25 minute walk up the beach or a short taxi ride away. We recommend visiting for lunch or evening dinner at Schooners and trying their drink of the day.
Beaches Negril is located on the famed seven mile beach on Norman Manley Blvd, in Negril, Jamaica. It is approximately 90 minutes from the Montego Bay Airport (MBJ) and can be reached by car or by plane at the Negril Aerodrome (NEG) airport which is only 5 min from the resort.
100%! Yes, Beaches Negril is an authentic family-friendly resort that is not too big and not too small, with a beachfront waterpark, Sesame Street characters, kids’ clubs, and teen hangouts — all right on Seven Mile Beach.
Yes, many of the rooms face the ocean. The best views are from the Eventide Penthouse Collection, Firesky Reserve Villas and Santa Cruz Families.
Deciding between Beaches Turks and Negril can feel like comparing apples and mangoes; both are sweet, but the experience is totally different. As Sandals Royal Chairman Diamond Elite travel experts, we’ve walked these beaches, stayed in many of the room categories, and personally tested the experiences you’re trying to decide between.
If you’re overwhelmed by the options, no worries! We’ll help match you with the perfect fit at no cost to you.
We know that family travel is personal, because we do this with our own family too. What looks good in a brochure isn’t always what works in real life.

Beaches Turks & Caicos is ideal with activities for every age group and multiple “villages” with room options that suit large families.
You can submit a request, but it’s not guaranteed. We will help our clients navigate this by noting preferences during booking and following up with the resort directly before arrival.
Yes, each Beaches resort offers allergy-friendly menus, and chefs can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice.
During spring break and holidays, yes, there can be a lot of people, but it is a large resort, so it doesn’t ever feel too busy. We guide clients toward the right travel dates, room locations, and even recommend concierge or butler levels to help avoid the crowds when needed.
